ibis budget Bergerac

The hotel was as described, greeted politely at check in, room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. There were plenty of places to eat within a short walk (it's kind of an industrial estate) although I didn't bother as tired and already had a sandwich! No tea/coffee available in room but this is France so not expected, plus not listed on site so no disappointment. Bed comfortable and able to put A/C on so able to sleep well despite heat. Breakfast is a buffet and very plentiful; croissants, bread, cheese, meat, yoghurt etc and lots of coffee, I throughly enjoyed it and you're able to sit outside and share it with the sparrows if you like-I did! Only drawback is it's nowhere near the airport really, more on a "triangle" with the station and the airport, so a €18 taxi ride away; I'd searched near the airport but this came up, so maybe the nearest anyway? I'd stay again with no problem, but probably not more than overnight as on this occasion.

Staff were friendly and pleasant. Price was good. Location was fine for our needs. Mini table-tennis in lobby was fun. Hotel is outside the town in a retail park but there is a free bus service every hour or two going to the town centre and back, which is really convenient.

Comfortable, very clean. Both room and bathroom. Breakfast area tidy, clean and food of a good choice and quality. Orange juice tasty. Staff friendly, smiles and very helpful. Parking secure and plenty.

Handy for visit to Bergerac, dog friendly and the staff very welcoming. Quiet at the weekend. Room spacious

This was an unplanned stop on our journey and fitted the bill perfectly- comfortable, clean and cheap with free parking and a restaurant next door.
